Using the Revised Common Lectionary, this prayer journal includes Bible readings for every day and guides readers to note particular acts of compassion and justice, as well as works of devotion and worship, and prayer concerns.

Each includes a quotation from John Wesley and a suggested hymn stanza, which connects with the readings. The book enables users to meet in small groups to hold one another accountable as Christian disciples.
