The General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church offers at various times and locations Walk to Emmaus, a spiritual formation event to help develop leaders and disciples of Christ. The program encourages those who attend to seriously consider Jesus' model of servanthood and how they too can be a servant to others in their daily lives.
The Wesleyan Institute will be a time of Christian conferencing with leaders who are interested in helping Christians "Increase our Faith, Confirm our Hope, & Perfect us in Love." We will explore together the role spiritual disciplines, known in the Wesleyan tradition as means of grace, play in forming persons as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
